Research Plan
Below is a summary of our intended course(s) of action throughout the project which is described in the Aims & Objectives page.
This is subject to change depending on the results of further literature reviews, especially ones concerning 'green' retardants. Time has been set aside in Semester 2 as a contingency measure in case more time is required for experimentation.
Experimentation will be used to verify the performance of the retardants in a simulated “real fire” scenario. Assumptions and weaknesses in the technique will be considered to address applicability of retardants in a practical situation.
